My name is Varunavi Jalan
Hi, I'm a law student, writer, and the founder of ELIZ. I started ELIZ because I believe legal knowledge shouldn’t feel distant, intimidating, or locked behind jargon. With a growing interest in cyber law, data privacy, and emerging tech regulations, I’m building a career rooted in clarity, curiosity, and a deep respect for the evolving nature of the law.
But ELIZ isn’t just about legal explainers, it’s about perspective.
When I’m not decoding complex legal concepts, I’m likely deep-diving into astrology, obsessing over Formula 1 strategy (Ferrari heartbreak and all), or overindulging in various art forms. I’m also into fashion that speaks before I do, pop culture law, café-hopping, and writing things that sound like poetry but carry legal weight.
ELIZ is my way of making the law make sense - to others, and to myself. It’s serious thinking with soul.
